i read somewhere that you wrote the lyrics for 'sleep is a curse'.

when you sing the lines

"great things come, but only as a blessing.

the son of god, is nothing more than this"

what is the 'this' referring to?

The son of god (a.k.a. jesus) is supposed to be the greatest symbol of love possible, i.e. according to Christian beliefs, God so loved the world that he gave his only son, etc etc.. who died for the sins of humanity in the greatest act of love imaginable.

That line is a realization that the 'greatest love'.. the 'son of god' is just an allegory for the bond of friendship... and that scriptures were misinterpreted leading millions to believe that 'the son of god' must mean that and only that.. and can't have parallels in real life.

In short, true friendship is a parallel to the great love symbolized by the passion of christ.
