Yeah, I saw that yesterday - sad day indeed. The Friday rock show is a legend - there were loads of bands I got into through hearing them on there...
I remember listening to it on my walkman on the way home from work on my bike when I was 17 or so, headbanging to 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' - and then afterwards TV saying it was for Cliff Burton who'd been killed. I almost had to stop by the side of the road...
One of the other (many cool) TV memories - he had one of the guys from Def Leppard in as a guest, and when it came time to play another song he asked the guy if he liked thrash or not? He got a rather lukewarm response, but TV said he didn't care and was going to play some anyway - and then he put Possessed on. F**k yeah

Got my first Running Wild album 'cos of him. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing LOL!
