Tongue Splitting

...piercings, tattoos and the like have become so common that you're more unique if you don't have any whatsoever than the other way around. I think that if you wanna get piercings, or tattoos or whatever you should do it cause you like it and think you look better with it, not cause you feel it makes you unique.

Couldn't agree more. I have three tattoos. Many people I know have no clue I have them. They are for me, and not to impress others. I find it somewhat laughable when I see these 19 year old kids with shoulder ink, who then spend the rest of their lives in sleeveless shirts so the whole world can see their tattoo and know just how cool they are.

As for the tongue splitting thing, it's not for me. That being said, if someone wants to do it, who the hell is the government to tell them what they can and can't do with their tongues? Isn't there something more productive our elected officials could be doing with thier time?
