The snare test file runs through all 7 snares from top to bottom (if you would like me to list them out for you, I can). Each snare is run through a collection of short snare grooves to give everyone a feel for all the different snares that are available.

No post processing:guh:?

What a room sound!!!! Fucking 57€ bucks on Thomann... No brainer!

PS: Reminds me a lot of the original Sneap samples

we had a great time actually, the toontrack guys are super cool, total goofy humour and not shy of a good meal/drink, so we got on great. I was surprised at the amount of samples we recorded, it took 5 days of constant hits, tuning, playing midi, and then 2 to 3 days back in the uk fine tuning. I tried to find a middle ground with the eq, compression etc. The idea of ezx is that its good to go out the box, but I didn't want to over do things, so it could be flexible. Judging by what you guys are saying here I think we got it right. Theres a free update coming soon with a few more cymbal catches/chokes btw.

Nice to see you around Andy. Great work

Also, do you need anything from the U.S? I think we're about due for another Sneap Shipment

thanks a lot! :)

Here is a A/B between the original mix and the mix with Metal Machine. A new song with Hate Ammo called Electric Selections.

i also re-did the mastering and a few other stuff. But you can hear right away that it has more punch and attitude to the drums.

Original mix:

Awesome dude! Sounds really good! What mastering and "other stuff" did you do differently exactly?

This is a really cool song ronnie.

These are hands down the best Out-of-the-box samples I ever used. Very very nice Mr Sneap!!
I got an important workaround question for the others: I just used them on a mix with programmed midi drums with no problems. What about a mix where I want to replace my audio snare track? What do you use to convert it to midi or is it possible to use Slate Triggers MIDI output for it directly without latency issues? I'm working in nuendo 3, so unfortunately I have no AudiotoMidi function like in Cubase 6 :/
I always use drumagog 4 for this, can make some screens for you if you like

wow Ronnie that was like an advertisement right there!

I thought the before sounded good but then when you hear the after its like :kickass:

I gotta get this thing.

Hmmm.. That's weird. When I bought the Metalheads from their site I received all the download information in five minutes. Not sure about the payment details not matching thing..

Payment received but still no download link :Smokedev:

converted a new Hate Ammo track to midi last night and mixed it with Metal Machine.

Ronnie, awesome results!

How are you converting to MIDI? Are you triggering with Slate or Drumagog or do you tab to transient and place a midi note, or something else all together?
