Often Live discs tend to be "tweaked" in the studio. There's very few discs that really "live." Here's a list of discs that I think are worthy of being called "Live Records."
1)Prong-100% Live(You have to hear this to believe how great & tight this band is)
2)Judas Priest-"Live Meltdown"(the only reason this falls short is because It's Ripper singing & not Halford. A great setlist of old & new)
3)Halford-Live Insurrection(Great stuff from all solo project Rob has done. Thank the "Metal God" for not including any "Metal" versions of Two songs! The only track that has some studio work aside from the studio tracks? The One You Love to Hate w/Bruce Dickinson)
4) In Flames-Showdown In Tokyo(I do not know if this was "tweaked" with or not. I happen to have a few bootleg shows & you can compare them & they sound pretty close)
5)KISS-"Flaming Years" Toronto 1976(Why this & not AI or AII?, I don't think they are completely Live. If you can track this one down, you'll get the true meaning of a Live show. Recorded directly from the soundboard. There is very little crowd noise, the band just lets loose & plays):D

Honerable Mentions(But they are DVD's)
Motorhead-Bone Shaker Live @ Brixton
Judas Priest-Live @ Brixton(Great Rehearsal footage)
Dokken-Live from the Sun(Unbelievable footage, considering the indie label they are signed to & no George Lynch)
Iron Maiden-Rock In Rio(Why this & not the discs? They are a visual band)
The Cult-Music w/out Fear(Because they haven't officially issued a Live record):D

1) Deep Purple - Made In Japan (live albums don't get much better than this)
2) Judas Priest - Ultimate Priest in the East
3) Mayhem - Live in Leipzig
4) Slaughter (Can) - Live In Toronto '85
5) Black Sabbath /w Rob Halford - Ozzy Meets the Priest

Poison - Swallow This sounds 100% live. It isn't all that good though, although it does have an awesome energy to it.

Dokken's Beast From The East also sounds 100% live to me and is awesome as well!
