Is that time of the year again, and many know the drill, but there have been (thankfully) many newbies coming lately.

Write your top (10 minimum, no maximum) list of albums, concerts, videos, for 2017.
No bashing, no hit and run comments, all lists are valid in the eyes of the poster.

I post mine usually on Dec 31, but anyone who like put it before is welcome. This thread will be "sticky" until Feb 2018 and then will have its own rotation.

Welcome to my world where "heavier metal(?)" is a thing where any band can fit anywhere I want it too. The only other genre that exists which I didn't list was "crap metal" which is everything I don't listen to.

1. Tony Mills - Streets of Chance (Tony returns with a superb hard rock disc with several guest appearances!)
2. Labyrinth - Architecture of a God (I'll be honest, wasn't a fan of these guys before, but this release is stunning. Like Dragonforce writing a classic Queensryche album)
3. Kee of Hearts - St (Tommy Heart from Fair Warning and Kee Marcello from Europe release what is a perfect blend of those 2 bands)
4. Firewind - Immortals (Gus G is back, great record, and produced by my beloved Dennis Ward!)
5. Dream Evil - Six (Not their best, but some great tunes on here)
6. Pink Cream 69 - Headstrong (Solid effort, nice return to form)
7. Sons of Apollo - Psychotic Symphony (Supergroup with Jeff Scott Soto, Bumblefoot, ex-Dream Theater members, etc)
8. Place Vendome - Close to the Sun (It's not quite Unisonic but new Kiske singing hard rock / metal is always a treat)
9. Steel Panther - Lower the Bar (Not too shabby but not their best)
10. Lionville - A World of Fools (Basically a Work of Art album featuring the same singer. AWESOME!)
11. House of Lords - Saints of the Lost Souls (These guys were amazing live. Kind of like Steel Panther without joke lyrics)
12. Matenrou Opera - Pantheon (two part album, pretty good!)
13. Jeff Scott Soto - Retribution (A total rocker from JSS)
14. Eclipse - Momentum (should probably be higher but I'm not reorganizing my list, these guys always do solid work)
15. Dreamstoria - Dreams Never End (Like Japanese Eden's Cruse. Guitarist plays a sky guitar too!)
16. One Desire - St (I guess I would call this pop metal. I could show this to my non-metal friends and they would love this. Could be a massive hit. Very 80s with some great playing!)
17. Jack Russell's Great White - He Saw it Coming (I interviewed him for this album and I quite like it).
18. Nocturnal Rites - Phoenix (I only just heard it, would probably be higher)
19. Versailles - Lineage EP (My god they were so good live!)
20. Edguy - Best of (Only 5 new tracks but they're all solid)

Interviews: Jack Russell (Great White), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Dug Pinnick (King's X), Uli Jon Roth (on his tour bus!), Robert Mason (Warrant), Pat Torpey (Mr Big), Mike Metijevic (Steelheart), Deen Castronovo (ex-Journey), Jeff Scotto Soto (TSO, Yngwie), Alex Mitchell (Circus of Power), Geoff Tate (ex-Queensryche)

Concerts (yes, I went to a lot!): Uli Jon Roth (2x), Warrant, Hendrix Tribute (Buddy Guy, Zakk Wylde, Kenny Wayne), Mastodon, Hall and Oates/Tears For Fears, Whose Line is it Anyways, Yngwie, House of Lords, Skid Row (2x), Morbid Angel, Mr Big, Fates Warning, Dreadnaughts, MunizO (My beloved Japanese band, 3x), Megadeth (2x), King's X (2x), Night Ranger, Iron Maiden, Metallica, George Thorogood, Geoff Tate (2x), Neal Morse (maybe my favorite of the year!), Jelly Jam, Doug Stanhope, Robocop the Musical, Diamond Head, Warlock (Doro), Dark Tranquility, Scorpions, Dokken, Paul McCartney, Zakk Sabbath, Steel Panther (2x), Evil Dead the Musical, Book of Mormon The Musical, Firehouse, Versailles (Japan), Dream Theater, Cybertronic Spree, Queensryche, Thor, Gus G/Vinnie Moore, Winger, Tom Keifer
