Hi, Theocracy gents

Are you going to be doing any shows this summer? June-Aug? I'm taking my 12 year old son on his "coming of age trip" this summer, and he and I are HUGE Theocracy fans. I live in Maryland, but I would drive to Georgia for the event. Seriously.

The only show on the schedule for us right now (that I'm aware of) is April 30th at the Masquerade in Atlanta (we're one of the openers for the Sonata Arctica show)

There might be some one off show's here and there, but I think for the most part we're planning right now on recording the third album

While the shows are good, they do break the flow of working on third album because our focus turns to rehearsing the songs we'll play for the show.

Of course, there can always be shows added...but as of right now, I don't think much is on the table :)

Hm... 30th... I'll ask my Dad if he's willing to go to this one. He's been to the Masquerade a few times... way back. What level will you be on? Hell?

Inquiry...how long of a set will Theocracy get to play before the main act? I know I've been to some concerts that gave the opening band(s) quite a bit of room to breathe, and others were the openers were shuffled off the stage after one or two songs.

We're actually playing on the Heaven level. When we played there last month, they moved the show to that level as well.

In terms of set length, don't expect anything more then 30 minutes. Since there is going to be 3 other opening bands, can't play a full set.

yeah any footage or pics from the show? did you guys get to meet with the band members of SA? i know Matt is a big SA fan...
haha i was inspired to go see their Virginia show (which was last night) after i heard you guys were opening for them in Atlanta

bump...so, did anyone attend the SA show?

Being in central Florida, it would've been too far of a drive ;)

Hey ya'll! I was at the SA show. Of all the opening bands (4 total) only Theocracy impressed me. I didn't know they were a local band 'till I looked them up because Matt said something along the lines of "We came all the way from Finland for this?!" (Which was weird, he looks A LOT like a Finnish guy I know)

IMO they should have scrapped the other opening band (Tetrarch) and let Theocracy play a full hour. I mean...4 opening bands? Really? Theocracy got a good crowd reaction and the guys have a good stage presence.

Overall the show was great. The sound quality deteriorated when SA finally came on, though. Tony was often drown out!

I really hope to see you guys again soon! (Maybe somewhere on the Athens square? :) )
