Alex, I was up in the DC Arlington area in October running the Marine Corps Marathon. That city/area kick ass. Truley a city that makes you proud to be an American. Inspiring and beautiful (as long as you stay out of certain areas, ha!).

I sure hope they play Green Bay, which is only a 2 hour drive from Michigan's Upper Peninsula!!!
I will be satisfied if they play in Milwaukee....which is about a 4 1/2 hour drive. If it's the Rave I will BE THERE!!! I saw Maiden at the Rave and was Blown away!!!! Also I saw the Mighty Saint there!
Man when the Maiden-Meisters played there, I was completely CRUSHED! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was screaming along with the lyrics!!! Even a teen couple----who were no older than 17---was singing with every song!! I was truly blessed that day!!! Maiden was on everone's mind...Bruce being back and all (this was 1999!)

Actually, I'm game for any Saturday night show w/in 8 hours driving distance. I could ship out Friday, find a Motel 8, hang out in said city, go to show, stay in motel 8, go home. This is definitely my plan B if Columbus or Cincy doesn't materialize, or I'm booked when they do come.
Armoured Thrax not only is DC a beautiful city. It really is a great party town. I loved hooking up with interns and being so close to all the political bruhaha. I'm single now, I don't get into that shit anymore. In the winters I work in the burbs and in the Summer I tend bar out at the waterfont in DC in the Georgetown hood. So many schools and freshmen galore from the midewest to nail. only 18-20
Shit, I may swing a Chicago show. I'll just fly. I can get a room at the Ritz for only 75 a night. Have an after hours party there. Fuck party "like rock stars".........we're gonna party "WITH rock stars".

Brat princess, it isn't up to the band where they play. The booking agent contacts promoters(either big ones that sell tickets thru ticketmaster or smaller local promoters that bring most of the shows into town)
I know that amjconcerts tried bringing just anthrax here by themselves on a day off from that judas priest/anthrax tour after their date scheduled in Vegas but obviously 9/11 occurred.
I would be up for a Phoenix and Vegas and even southern cali show if it was around weekend.

I know they don't get to pick, which is why I haven't emailed them about it. I was just stating that I am going to be pissed if we get skipped over again. regardless of who's responsible for it.
I just wish the dates would come out so I know if I need to travel, requests days off, whatever.....But, ya know, the "trepidation" of a pending tour is part of the thrill of the fan experience. "Will they come to my town, when will it be, how much will tix costs" the internet has sort of ruined a lot of that fun. I'm probably one of the few people here who remembers when we relied totally on radio to announce shows, and then had to wait out in huge lines to get tickets.....aaahh, the good ol days.
