Tour

the worst part of going to the palladium is going to the shit-hole that is worcester. it'll still be an amazing show though. Just thought i'd mention that Porcupine tree were amazing at berkelee, if anyone here went.

Yes - The Palladium is quite the shithole. I sw Opeth there on the D1/D2 tour and I saw Slayer there when they had the blood falling from the rafters.

I do like the general admission though. I typically watch the first few bands from the balcony and then work my way to the front for the headliner.

It was an awesome show. I took the whole family to that one. They loved it.

Yep, agree with everyone. The Palladium is really not that great of a venue, it is too bad so many shows end up there. The upstairs is pretty cool, certainly has a closer connection between fans with the band. The worst part is the sound, sometimes it is good...most of the time it sucks. There are not too many other venues I could see them playing at, mainly because they are just too big (Tsongas Arena was awkward...but that was not really their fanbase, Centrum does not fit at all). It would have been great to see them play at the old Lupo's again, but the new Lupo's at Club Diesel in Providence is pretty neat also. I saw Porcupine Tree there two weeks ago and it was a great show.

Too bad, too bad, too bad.
