Except it should be a Swedish tour

Borknagar and/or Vintersorg ALWAYS mention how they would love to visit the US, but how no one is ever offering. Huge audience here...

Hey Mister Mayhem, this came to our attention only a few days ago and was posted by lurch in the Negura Bunget thread:

Negura Bunget - US Tour 2007

Time has come also for a US tour this year. We are not sure yet whether it will be around June or later in the year, but we definitely want do it. If you can help us arrange some gigs over there, please get it contact with us:

email - contact@negurabunget.com

mobile - 0040723565544

I can also tell you that it may make sense to contact The End Records about this. I'll PM you with some more info.

I am going to talk to some Romanian "promoters" this coming Saturday re: trying to do something for NB in NY (setup show, promote, etc.) ... regardless of who brings them here I want to be involved in promoting this tour somehow.

See, here's the bit where we all start listing potential Heathen Crusade rosters. :tickled:

If I had it my way, I'd request:

Melechesh
Negura Bunget
Primordial
Mael Mordha
Agalloch

....and already I'm beginning to see the perfect HC roster.

What kind of venue would these bands play, if not all together for a potential HC type fest? None of those bands could tour individually I don't think (unless they were playing very small venues, max 200 people?? Not that there's anything wrong with that).

They'd likely be pretty small. I mean, the other option is to have some big (relatively speaking) name band as a headliner.

Speaking of tours I want to see, someone bring Destroyer 666 back within five hundred miles of here, please.

Incredible first night. Now for day two, let's throw in something like:

Grey Skies Fallen
Secrets of the Moon
Amesours
Wolves in the Throne Room
Deathspell Omega
Naglfar
Orphaned Land
Destroyer 666
Skyclad
Immortal

Jason

I still cant help but wonder (since I can't cough up the dough alone) of what an HC fest would do in the Tri State area business wise.

And still cannot believe that a kickass fest was never attempted in these parts in ages (besides the chaos that was Death in the Forest)

I still think it would make a killing.

I'll join the Negura front and say they need a tour well planned out in the US...

Of course, wishing for this is dooming me to haveing to spend money on a plane ticket, as there is no way in fuck a tour of such would hit Salt Lake City, and if it did, theres no way it'd not be 21+.

Also, I feel the Amon Amarth, Tyr, and Wintersun tour should happen in the US, as Amon Amarth has been cheated (in my opinion) in the US by having to play with Children of Boredom. Especially the first tour they did together, AA got 20 minutes when I saw them, and I cried a mighty river.

I think it's great that Negura has plans to tour the US, But you're definitely right that they would be knee deep in debt unless they find some sort of package to get on. Maybe opening for Agalloch should they ever do a full scale US tour. Of course, the first two should attempt to be secured at all costs for a future HC (and Agalloch obviously).

At this point of their career and considering their "popularity" I can't fathom them playing MAYBE 3-4 gigs around the US ... if they were to headline.

If they were part of a package that is another story ... but they would need at least a 40-50 minute set given the lenght of most of their songs.

It'd be great to have NB do a small US tour but to also bring them back next year for HCIII. The possibilities for HCIII are astounding at this point. The bands that were name dropped at the gig plus the bands that are dying to play (Woods of Ypres comes to mind) next year.

Here's hoping HCIII happens :kickass:
