Trading an old hobby for an even older one...

I have (for the time being) officially quit playing guitar. I even put my gear up for sale. I've decided to go back to something I was better at. Writing. All that I have ever done has been fiction, and that is how its going to stay.
Right now I have two ideas bouncing around. The one I am most interested in, "The Book of Luke", should prove to be the better of the two. I still need to wring out all the details and figure out how its going to be arranged and told. The story will be mixed with Lukes' journal entires and some narration from his close freind. As far as the story goes, imagine having what you initially thought was spontanious bouts of amnesia, but in reality your alter ego is more or less shutting you down conciously while he goes and does whatever the hell he wants.
The other one is more sci-fi. The idea for that one goes way back to my high school days and some wild ass idea I dreamed up about creation and supreme beings and the meaning of life. Really kind of far out stuff. I'm not real sure how it will work out, but I'll do something with it...
Anyway, I will keep you guys posted if your interested. Eventually I will need to find some place to put them online once they are done so they can be read. Any ideas?

Sara, you always say the funniest things. ( Note :You say that you are 99 years old on My Space)...That was hilarious.

As far as selling your gear....Guitar playing is a disease. It will never go away and even if you sell your guitars now, you WILL be buying another one in the future.

If I sell my gear now, I can always replace it later. I will prolly end up getting at least an acoustic or something to fill the void.

Movie deal? I dunno about that one...lol! It would be nice though. All I'm hoping for is some personal satisfaction, and if some other people like it, well thats good too. We shall see...
