I'm hungry for some more progressive stuff and they've got Transatlantic's second album in a store here. I just wondered how Transatlantic compares to Dream Theatre - do they also 'fucking suck hairy donkey dick' like Satori said a while ago?

They aren't metal; they're prog rock. I found them to be quite boring, actually, and I really love prog metal. I'd recommend downloading some songs and trying them out. If you're in the mood for progressive, try Dysrhythmia. It's all instrumental; excellent stuff.

I love Transatlantic so much, but they are really not metal. I can't get enough of them though. They're the kind of band that makes think one day when I'm older I will totally love prog stuff much more than anything else. They are much different from Dream Theater also. I think they sound more like Spock's Beard.
