transfering 8 mm to dvd??

I personally transferred my old VHS-C to DVD with a DVD recorder, just put the tape in an adapter and put my VCR into the input of the recorder. Very simple, now all my old tapes are on DVD. It's easier if the camcorder has AV outputs, but mine didn't so I used my VCR. DVD recorders are cheap now, a Magnavox at Sam's Club is only $98. Hope this helps

I totally agree, i used to play them to my computer them turn them into a DVD with various degrees of success. But now I have a standalone DVD recorder, plug in the camcorder or VCR and away we go.
