Transport Eindhoven airport - Baarlo

Hoi!
Seems we have to change our flight route this year.
Since I can't find hardly no info about travelling from Eindhoven - Baarlo,
I need some 'local' help.

Best way to go public/taxi?
What is the cost for a taxi? (from Weeze(Düsseldorf) we've paid 45euro's).

Hey Russel,

Eindhoven is pretty close to Venlo. A taxi would certainly be more expensive than using public transport.

You have to take the bus from Eindhoven Airport to Eindhoven Central Station. From there, you have to take the train to Venlo (40 minute ride, single ticket costs 8.40 euros). From Venlo you can take a bus to Baarlo, which stops at the chinese restaurant (at the traffic lights).

The route planner says it takes you about 1h and 10 mins travelling time in total. Costs you less than 15 euros (per person) for busses and train tickets.

if all goes well financially for me I might even be able to meet you guys at the airport and be your guide towards Baarlo. Seeing as I'm quite familiar with the public transport system in Holland and should be able to travel for free during weekdays (basically the friday you guys arrive and the monday we leave). On top of that I can take 4 people with me on discount with the train, so thats 3 of you that'll be paying less seeing as hopefully my gf will be over as well.

It seems that Eindhoven is ca 20km longer(?) away then Weeze from Baarlo?
That would make taxi more expensive I beleive?(Been German taxi from Weeze 3people for 45euros, been very cheep )
On the other hand we've arrived to Kastel within 40min from checkout from airport..

Is there any information about taxi operators at the Eindhoven airport that I can contact(email) for a inquiry?
From Weeze airport I got 3 TO's and emailed them for a price inquiry Weeze/Kastel roundtrip... 45euros each way... last 2 years....

Last year me and my friend hired a car from Dortmund Wheeze. There were only 2 of us in it, and we picked up one guy feom Venlo station. Will probably have room for 2 more if necessary.

If you're arriving Weeze Eindhoven is on the wrong way for you.
We have to change destination to Eindhoven 'cause the changed flight schedules to Weeze from Sweden on fridays

If you're staying at the Castle, I believe they serve beer after noon If you want a drink before that, bring a bit of your own. Apparently I found out that I offered a finnish guy a bottle of whiskey if he'd show up again this year, but I dunno if I'll be there that early in the morning I'll be sure to bring a bit of extra though, cos we all know how fast the booze is going to be gone when the Fins get their sights on it

These taxi companies do transport small groups and the price can be discussed on forehand...

BTW: If you are taking the train from Eindhoven to Venlo I might be able to pick you up at Venlo station (I live in Venlo) Because I might be picking up friends anyway.....But that all depends on number of people, time, etc. And I don't drink and drive either, or at least not by car: once I have dropped everyone off I will be taking my bicycle to get to Baarlo ;-)
