Travis - Slide scanner(s) ?

Travis - I remember a while back you were talking about slide scanners and what not. What make/model has worked out for you well? I am looking into purchasing a slide scanner for many a reason, I have an epson scanner than that came with some slide scanning attachments and that just doesn't cut it for high dpi.

What kind of dpi can you get from the particular scanner you use?

Any insight would be great...

well i don't have the best. but i've been using a minolta for a long time after 2 nikons crapped out on me. I understand the hi-end polaroid ones are the best, but i don't know for sure. I also use my epson transparency flatbed sometimes and get good results.
