Treasure

pills is a very good album, not so abstract and arficial as the 2 others but I like it,great melodies(charge of total affect what a song!!)
its more normal rock or metal, more simple and straight into the head if you compare with the 2 others
but the intresting thing on this album is that the lyrical concept
with these 2 brothers was basicll already written by the french writer michel houllebecq
he wrote a book called elementary pieces/les particulieres elemtaires(original title) about 2 different brothers, the one is addicted to sex and is wanking all his time and trys to find his meaning of life in orgasm(he dies in an psychatric hospital)
the other brother is a scientist, absolutely not interested in sex or relationships,a cold lonely person and he tries to invent the asexual human being, science is his lifesource
these 2 brothers are very similiar to philosopher fuck and pornographer cain.
I think cornelius as hes a big friend of france and his cultural expositions like art, books, language and so on was inspired by this book, there are a lot of similiarities
check it out to find out what I mean its very a good book

the new solefald masterpiece "in harmonia universalis"must be released about christmas ive heard

I'd have to say Dimmu's 'Alive in Torment'. I picked it up the day of their concert at the Hard Rock Cafe. Got it signed by Silenoz there... ... and the cd isn't round :) :D

If I can get anything signed by IF or Arch Enemy when I go to their respective concerts in August, tho, it could lose its spot :p

I don't have any real treasures in my collection as I prefer to buy two cheaper albums instead of one limited Japanese super edition or whatever (quantity rules).

So, as for a top three:
Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper limited edition released in Finland signed by Alexi Laiho
Eucharist - A Velvet Creation original release (although I don't really like the album itself)
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence, just because it was hard to obtain.

And I didn't know Solefald's first album was to be considered a treasure..? Guess I should have picked it up when I saw it used for approx. $6 then.
