Hey guys, how are you?

I have a question about performing a Tremolo Block...
I understand what the tremolo block does and how to do it but my question is the following:
Does the tremolo block, disables the micro-tuning of the floyd rose? and/or in other words, does the tremolo block, disables the floyds ability to keep the strings on tune (with the help of the screws from the nut) comparing to a guitar that doesnt have a floyd and screws on the nut?
Will the screws from the nut have to be taken out?

Thanks a lot in advance!!
Cheers \m/

If you block a trem so that it is fixed, not floating, all the other parts of the trem work as normal. You can still lock it (at nut), you can still tune it at the bridge, you just lose some of the floating ability/ trem arm action. How much of the floating action you lose depends on how you block the trem.

I like to block my guitar with a handmade block out of massive old and dry wood,
I think it even helps the tone alot, would love to try it with a massive brass
block or something like that.

And yes, everything else works normal ;)

All you need to do is buy a Tremol-No on ebay or wherever, and install it on your guitar. It gives the bridge 3 options:
1.full tremolo
2.downward tremolo only (like a strat)
3.fixed bridge.
This thing is awesome, Iv'e recorded an entire album professionally with a tremol-no and it came out GREAT.
Here is the studio report:
