tribute album recording fund

i won't be able to enter the giveaway for that sweet guitar, but id still like to contribute to the recording fund. what would be the best way for me to go about doing that?

I have a silly idea...

Advance orders! People could send $15-20 (whatever amount was deemed appropriate) to the fund, and upon release everyone who placed an advance order would get their copy before everyone else!

You could even make it a limited edition, perhaps with a bonus CD of the "Acoustic Maidens' jams" or something...
