Trigger Instrument Editor question

I have a question about the Trigger Instrument Editor.

In the manual it says:

3 - Rows. Sets the number of velocity layers
4 - Columns. Sets the number of alternation hit layers.

Surely that's backwards.
The manual shows 4 rows and 3 columns.
Columns are up and down, rows are left to right.

Both the program and manual are incorrect.

Manual is backwards, correct.

Up and down goes between velocity layers, left and right goes between alternate hits in a given velocity layer.
