Truth About Seafood was a band I was in from about 1998 through 2000. It was a three piece rock band that was a kinda Jellyfish meets Stone Temple Pilots rock band. Jeff Minnery played guitar and was the lead singer and Brad Daane played bass. The band was around for a couple of years before I joined with Paul Bostaph on drums. He was indeed in Slayer for quite a few years. When he left to continue with Slayer full time, I joined the band. We recorded about three demos and one full length album. I had a really great time in that band and Jeff, Brad and I are still great friends, and every now and then we jam together. At one time, our full length album "Common Distractions" was available on Amazon.com. It is still listed there but I think they are out of stock. I will talk to Jeff and Brad and see if we can make it available somehow. Anyone interest please send me an email sean@theoasis.cc and I will see what I can do...
I saw the subject line and got all excited, thinking we were going to talk about jumbo shrimp or walleye or something. I must be hungry, it is dinner time after all...
If we're talking seafood, I hope we get around to talking about sea cucumbers...OK, there's like only one person here that will understand this, but I had to post it anyway!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too funny!!!!
Hey speaking of seafood, how about crab cakes tomorrow night? Much tastier than sea cucumbers, LOL, even if I'm not an iron chef, LOL!!!!!!
Cheers!
