TSO Wal-Mart Only

TSO makes some fantastic Christmas music Sixx! It's a far cry from the muzak version you hear in the grocery stores, doctor offices, etc. It's rocked out! I hate x-mas music (and the holiday in general), but TSO is a major exception to the rule.

I don't understand this Walmart release though. There's not a lot of information on that page. It looks to be only six songs already previously released (I don't see where they are live recordings or anything special). These aren't long songs either, so by today's standards it would equal a "best of" EP. I'm sure it's just a marketing ploy, to introduce new people to TSO cheaply and to a VERY WIDE audience.

I like it. More people exposed to great music. More money for Jon Oliva to keep on trucking with his solo work! Woo hoo!

Might this be a sampler that will expose others to their music? Maybe.
I'll pick it up as I'm not at all familiar with them...

I saw them live about 4 years ago. I had no idea who they were when I went but I knew Al Pitrelli played with Megadeth & Savatage so I was surprised to see them. I met Pitrlli at a signing & he seemed like a dick, but it was very fucking brief. I mentioned Megadeth & I take it he didn't leave Megadeth on very good terms

I haven't been able to go see them live for the last few years but I hear the new stuff is amazing, especially in a live setting. I'm doing everything I can to see them this year.

Saw TSO last year. Even though my seats were horrible, it was an awesome show. Completely over the top.
