Has anyone directly compared the Ruby 6L6GCMSTR's to the Winged C 6L6's? How would you characterize the two against each other?
I've been running the Ruby 6L6's with pretty good results, but I've heard good things about the Winged C 6L6's so I'm a bit curious to try them. My main apprehension, however, is that some of the tube retailers recommend the Ruby's for metal, and the Winged C's more for classic and hard rock. So it makes me wonder if they are somehow less aggressive sounding...
Cheers.
