i love that... HAIL!

I use Dean Markley 9-42 guage, and occasionally the Dean Markley Blue Steel cryo strings. I tune to full D. and NO the tension is not shitting. Its perfect! yaaay for me!

the floyd rose has to be balanced with the body. if it's lowered you have to loose the screws that hold the springs and etc.

if the shit is lowered to the body i use to lift it up with my hand and put something under it and tune it and doodle with the springs..

this is probably the only downside of using a floyd rose tremolo!

my best advice is to experiment until you find a way or look up some sites where you can read about this! good luck

i reckon the down side about floyd roses is that they are a fucking pain in the arse...well most of the time, but once you know how to tinker them it becomes second nature.

i have removed my tremolo arm from my guitar.
i read a post where i guy said that "floyd rose is used to hide their inability to play" and sometimes i think that's fucking true.. i mean inflames has no floyds and randy had none but damn he can play. there are very few guitarists that can handle the floyd great.. it has to become second nature asa you said..
but i know that i can make it without it. i like simplicity, both in music and equipment and everything else.
not slagging those who use floyds, but everyone's different..

some guys need to ask themselves: "why do i wan't this"

for me it just aint worth all the fucking trouble to do a divebomb you know.. and when i cover songs by other bands i never do the same solo (if it aint very original) but i like to take the best pieces of the solo and spice it up with my own playingstyle. that way i can avoid doing the divebombs but still make it sound good (to me at least)

and yes, you can shred and play bodomstyle guitar without either an esp v350al, jackson rr-ll and a floyd rose.
it's all in the mind really when it comes down. not in equipment at all!

And yeah, bottom line is Floyd Roses suck. If the problem of having a guitar with a Floyd Rose has befallen one, one should simply get the fuckin' thing disabled and be able to enjoy that guitar to its fullest extent without trouble. FUCK FLOYD ROSE!
