First up are Italians Trinakrius who I've never even heard of although this is their fourth album. They sound really good though. Playing my kind of doom which means it ain't actually really doomy sounding. It's like epic melodic speedy doom with colourful melodic vocals. The medley on youtube sounds really nice.

Second band is melodic doom/power metal band making a return after 5 years. Memory Garden were sort of an interesting classic power/doom band whose album Mirage is still in my collection. However I never liked anything else from the band and I didn't even hear the last album from 2008. Anyway the new song sounds good although the singer is just not strong enough. Imagine Rob Lowe belting this song out or even Messiah. Musically though the band is very pleasant on the ear with warm midpaced riffs and a very morose and deep solo section. I'm never gonna be a huge lover of this type of music however mournful epic melodies are always hard to resist when done well so I hope the album turns out good. A few of you doomsters should be happy with this one.

I always liked these guys but I heard they split up. The first album "Sad Symphony" is fantastic and the second "Witchhunter Tales" is good as well. Didn't get a chance to get their last 2 or 3 releases......

The section between 1:58 and 4:06 is great doom material. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-xPEq-JtU0"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-xPEq-JtU0[/ame]

Too bad their Italian accent makes it a little hard to understand all the words clearly.

Thunderstorm are great, very similar to Candlemass, although Nero Enigma from 2010 felt just average. Will have to check out Trinikrius, never heard of them...Memory Garden been going for quite a while now, curious to hear the new one.
