he was born on valentine's day, that's cool. 6 months from my b-day, though I'm 4 1/2 years younger. I don't think it's what you said exactly, ledmag, it's just the vibe it had. It sounded like you were offended that they were asking for $5. I mean they didn't make it mandatory or anything, they just asked for those who could afford it to be generous. So, it seems like your being defensive of the poor people who can't afford it, but they were never asked to contribute, anyway. Just thought I'd clarify. I didn't get mad by what you said or anything, sometimes I just come across that way.

Ok, first of all, the only reason I mentioned my profile at all is you would have seen that I was 29 and not 15. Like it or not ledmag, you initially wrote to me in a condescending manner like you thought I was someone both below you and much younger who couldn't possibly know shit. THAT is all.

Not once did I mention what type of place I live or what kind of house, not once did I mention what kind of car I drive or exactly how much I earned. My original comments had nothing to do with what kind of income someone makes, or what social status level they're at. I could care fucking less. I only commented that people who can't swing $5 and then publically bitch about it are losers. Plain and simple. YOU'RE the one who seems to feel the need to defend your standing in life. I'm sorry, did I strike a nerve?

I don't see where or how you get off assuming so many things about me. Nowhere - especially at UM - have I been a "bully" or a "NJ big dog" or whatever you pulled out of your ass. I'm not sure why I felt the need to show/demonstrate/prove to you that I was someone who understood bills and expenses, etc., but I obviously allowed myself to be goaded into it by your rambling nonsense. The fact that you think I feel the need to brag or describe my social status is laughable. The fact that you equate respect to a person's number of posts or length of time spent on a fucking Nevermore (board of all places) is even more laughable.

I mean, please. I look back at some of what you wrote and I can't for the life of me figure why you would automatically assume those things. Well, I'm tired of defending myself, it's kind of silly truth be told. If you'd like to continue to demonstrate your complete and total lack of ability to spell or write decent sentences, please feel free to bash me some more. Otherwise, ignore me. I'm not sure why the Nevermore board seems to attract a particular brand of snob, but it does to a degree. You have no idea what I listen to, nor what my tastes are. I don't know your age or metal background, but I can tell you though that I was cutting my teeth on Iron Maiden & Metallica in all likelihood quite some time before you decided to grace the metal world with your presence.

We CAN all just get along. I've corresponded with ledmag offline and I believe we've gotten past our differences. I would like to publically state that once we exchanged emails and were both calmer, ledmag was a very pleasant person to talk to. I hope we're all beyond the silliness that took place earlier, and I apologize to everyone else for having to read it (though I'm sure it at least provided some chuckles). Thanks.
