UM seems really slow.

Is it just me and my dial-up connection, or are others finding the site really damn slow of late (over the past weeks especially).

It actually took me 40seconds to load the 'New Thread' page. Some larger threads take minutes! And that's when I'm not downloading porn!

Maybe a donation is in order from Sydo to improve UM services? :Smug:

Its the same for me, I thought maybe it was my ISP, if I try opening 5 or 6 threads to view them at once it takes about 6 minutes to load them all.

Weird... it's only sometimes slow for me, and that's usually an overrun process (which I stop, and voila - it's ok again).

Or, maybe you're hitting the server during our daily backup (when the whole server is zipped and copied)... I know it bogs down like an arsehole then.

It's a bit slow for me, but I'm keeping myself entertained by listening to Iron Maiden's new LP, "The Number of the Beast". I'm only on the second track, which is a nice rocking number. By the time this page loads I might be onto the third song. This Bruce Dickinson guy's not half bad!

Stupid, stupid people. I'm not sure about getting rid of Di'anno either. This Bruce guy is good, but I can't see them playing any big venues with him. Paul was the man to take them to stadia.
