Beyond all doubt, the whitest song ever written. I'm so ashamed to be a caucasian right now...

My favorite part, nearly causing a coffee volcano to erupt onto my monitor...

"Once I tried to run, I tried to run and hide but Jesus came and found me and he touched me down inside. He is like a Mountie, he always gets his man, and he'll zap you anyway he can... ZAP!!!"

That poor, poor Les Paul... you can almost hear it screaming... "KIIILLLLLLL MMEEEEE..."

I could only watch it once though, any more than that and I'd probably end up going on a 3-state killing spree.

Unbelievable video. I actually laughed out loud. And thanks for pointing out those lyrics Roadking!! Hahahah

My god... possibly the gayest thing I have ever seen :erk:
cheers for posting - made me cringe and laugh.. and ofcourse emotionally scarring me :hypno:

Imo the best lines are

"He loves me when I'm right / He loves me when I'm wrong / He loves me when I waste my time by writing silly songs"

"Jesus is my friend. I have a friend in Jesus."

Jesus, what is this world coming to? The funny part to me is that it looks it is lip-synched. Someone went out of their way to record that song in a studio.

The guitar player got no love from the host. Ha ha!

i must admit that song kinda stuck in my brain. i showed it to some friends and while listening to it repeatedly i actually began liking it a little. for its utter, innocent simplicity, for its lyrics that are serious on the one hand but also a little tongue-in-cheek in the other. those guys (and girls) actually are convinced that they have a friend in jesus, but they don't take themselves too seriously. they know that i sounds stupid if you say it like that.
