Underoath - Disambiguation

I really like Lost in the Sound of Separation way more than this one, musically and production-wise. This one sounds really narrow in comparison, and while I love how dirty and vibey it is, I also wish it had a lot more definition on cymbals and a few other bits.

I only listened to 2 songs till now and so far I prefer the music in Lost in the Sound of Separation, but I seriously LOVE the production on this. I don't agree that it sounds "raw", I think our definition of raw has been a bit blinded by todays standards, it is rawer than the last album, but goddamn this sounds really good, it complements with the music SO well, I am loving this!

I love the drums, would love any details on this!!!!! The vocal chain sounds very similar to what Amitty Affliction had, like a mild distortion with huge amounts of compression. Any info around on what was done to the vocals?

Holy shit christmas, this album is great. Production and music wise. I only knew their old emo shit, but apparently they changed alot ;)
