I think the problem is simply the dynamics. It seems there is none at all. or is it that nothing punches at all. Anyways how did you manage to upload the songs? i read you were searching how to and I have the same problem here.
you go into the share folder of your account on dropbox and there is an arrow beside the file and you click it and say share file link or something and you copy that link. which song were you referring to? or was it both?

the second one. it's just that when i bring the volume high i don't have that feeling of punch. It's one of 2 reasons. You didn't compress anything or you over compressed everything. Samples are easy to kill especially when they allready look like a square wave.
yeah the drums need to be worked on for sure i was more concerned with the guitar tone im not good with geting a good guitar tone and vocals. overal i definitly agree theres no punchyness to it. and the lack of bass i think affects it. when im mixing it i try to add more bass because theres no bass guitar but then it sounds messed. but thanks for that point
