that slayer set is really fucking good, glad to see they're focusing on the good stuff as oppossed to that pile of shit god hates us all and the others. cob's set is pretty lame, but its not like i expected any different, they'll just play the famous songs they have to play and then the new ones. i'm not going to be seeing the unholy alliance though because i'll be in la seeing emperor :kickass:

Mastadon aren't coming but In Flames and Mendeed are.

mendeed are going places & thats good kudos to them. Seen them a few times before they got big except their own headlining of the catty & support of anthrax.

I'd take Flames over mastodon anyday of the week & mendeed for that matter

Battleheart is fucking great!! and if you say the words "emo" and "hardcore" in the same sentance as "Battleheart" you are very gay >8(

I know the guitarist from Mendeed. :)

But I don't really like their music, hate their singer, but Steve Nixon is a very good guitarist.

Listen to that. It doesn't show his talent at all but that's how they sound as a band.

They're also playing at Tuska.

Is this set list confirmed? Has anyone been to UA that can say whether this is true or not? I think the rest of the bands should take the night off so COB can play the whole 4-5 hours on June 25th..

Does Mastodon get a longer setlist? Because I think that CoB and them are trading off the opening spot, and I hope I get a longer Bodom setlist. As long as I get to see Bodom I dont really care. I want to see at least 1 or 2 of the new songs live, thats about it. they are one of the funnest bands to see live.

the tweeter center show bodom played 3rd and mastadon 2nd so bodom had a longer setlist if you could even say 6 songs is long setlist. and i dont know if its true because i didnt hear about it but on lamb of gods website there are certain dates on the unholy alliance tour that dont have bodom or slayer playing just lamb of god and mastadon and thine eyes bleed or whatever it is have a look http://www.lamb-of-god.com/ashes2/news/tour.php?SID=

CoB setlist as best as I can remember:

Silent Night Bodom Night
In Your Face
Needled 24/7
Living Deadbeat
Angels Dont Kill
Hate Me!
Downfall

We got a 7 song setlist, and Bodom was on 2nd. So I guess we were the lucky ones. They had a good night, everything sounded great. Alexi jumps around a lot more on stage than he used to, resulting in the vocals being a bit off. But nothing to complain about, it was still a good night.

edit: Oh yea, this was for the 6/16 New Jersey show.

Silent Night Bodom Night
Needled 24/7
In Your Face
Hate Me
Living Dead Beat
Angels Don't Kill

Very good choices considering they only play 6 songs. I would replace Hate Me with Mask of Sanity though. COB just whipe the floor with Slayer every night by doing just 6 songs, and then get totally trashed. What a life.

COB > In Flames > Joonas singing naked on stage > Slayer
That's the way I, and many other COB fans, see things

Bodom has been to the states like 5-6 times. I've seen them 7 times and they play the same fucking songs everytime; it gets old. I know they can play their other songs, so why are they being a bunch of one-trick ponies?
