Untight MIDI playback

hey fellas,
knowing that this problem was mentioned before,
i could not find the thread so again:
while using dfhs or simple midi drum tracks with nuendo
playback sometimes delays a note, which is really annoying
especially if you try to get your groove right.
any help or turnarounds for this?

Remove any unnecessary CPU eating plugins, freeze the track, use a host that will not give you such problems (Reaper for example) - you can render MIDI in that other host and import the audio back in Nuendo.
