Upcoming Swallow the Sun album

I am pretty stoked about this new release. They had me hooked as soon as I heard Ghosts of Loss. They craft their songs well, so I can't wait to hear what they do with a 30 minute plus song. I'm going into it with an open mind.

I understand where you are coming from, its not anything groundbreaking. I just know I like what I hear.

Actually I wóuld say their music is groundbreaking. The concept isn't anything new, but the melodies are sooo beautiful.
For example the bridge in descending winters (from 3:22 minute)...
Ok, I'm not an expert on doom and such, but there must be a reason I don't really like any kind of doom, but STS... They have something special if you ask me

The reason is probably that StS is more melodeth than doom
