URGENT! Profire 2626 not showing up as Audio Device, Reaper Windows XP

Edit: it somehow worked it's self out, thread is now useless, delete please!
Worked by just moving the firewire card back to original slot, must not have been seated correctly :/
Was extreme panicking for a second there.


Hey,

Not showing up in reaper(comes up with the prompt to choose audio device, select it, all inputs are unavailable), the little M-audio thing down on the task bar doesn't come up with any thing either.
Unit powers up, I've moved the firewire card to a different port, unplugged the cable, turned it on and off numerous times, uninstalled a driver I installed before using it today, nothing works.

Shiiiit.
And I've got a band coming tomorrow morning!


Anyone wanna help?
I think I'm gunna just keep trying shit till it works, god, fingers crossed or I'm FUCKED.

This isn't what you want to hear, but I had a similar issue way back with a 002R and it required repair.

Looks like everything worked it's self out, hmmm.


Moved the firewire card back to original slot, restarted, then it installed the driver for the 2626 automatically, now it all works.
Real strange.
Makes me scared to change things

Would hate to have this repaired.
