Wow, Esa, some of those shots are REAL "money shots." Great work!
Thanks Paul -- it was an unforgettable experience: an unexpected shooting opportunity that I was determined to give my best to.
The band seems equally determined to make this THE comeback year in the U.S., after last year's embarrassing visa fumbles. So far, things appear to be going according to plan: record-breaking attendance at Riverbend Festival, and 4000+ attendance in Ohio.
There's Easy Livin', Stealin', and Lady in Black -- but the iconic Uriah Heep track for us hard-core fans will always be July Morning. Disregard the follow-spot blowouts - this is an ode to a respect-the-classics proto-metal band, their marquee live track, and one of the most underrated bassists of all time, Trevor Bolder.
Awesome, awesome clip.
My friend and I were at the Atlanta show, and both our jaws were pretty much on the floor after the Gypsy to Look at Yourself combo, and didn't think it could get any better...until July Morning.
We didn't get "Look At Yourself" this time, but "Rainbow Demon" more than made up for it.
I definitely think they could cut 1-2 of the new tracks and replace them with pretty much any of the 'classic' stuff.
