Don't put this tour down just yet folks. I'm not too crazy about Motorhead myself. Obviously everything that has to do with this record has been a slow start. Hopefully everything will snowball from here on.

You people are kidding, right? I hope to Christ you're not dissing Motorhead.

I want a straight-up headlining Anthrax tour as much as anyone. But fucking hell, it's Motorhead we're talking about here. If you don't respect the rock Motorhead brings, stick your head in your sister's Holly Hobbie oven and ever-so-slowly allow the light bulb to bake you to death. It's MOTORHEAD!!! They OWN ROCK. Everyone else just rents it from them.

We all have our opinions, and you can tell me you don't like Motorhead if you want. You just won't be welcome in my house, is all. :)

I can't believe you are knocking down motorhead. short of scott's wish of opening for ac/dc, this is awesome news. I just ask that they get some cool young heavy(non-nu rock)acts to open for them and this tour will be awesome!!!

Like I said, I'm not crazy about Motorhead but I never said that I don't respect them. I myself am a musician and it's not like I'm gonna turn the other way if I see someone jamming. Perhaps this is Anthrax's way of telling their fans to check out this band Motorhead and vice versa. They're not exactly in the same genre.

This is good and bad. For sales of WCFYA - it might be good. It will remind a lot of people who might go for Motorhead how amazing the Thrax are still and pursuade them to go buy it. People who go to see Anthrax will buy anyways so this could work well.

They'll still do their own headline shows too so it should be cool.

At the end of the day, it's not like this is the ONLY tour they get. Every day Anthrax is on the road playing a show is better than a day they're sitting at home. Barring label or management troubles, there's no reason they shouldn't be living on a tour bus for the next two years, especially given the strength of this record. If they're out long enough, maybe they'll get to each and every one of our "wish list" tour lineups...... :)

The point is, this year you'll get to see Anthrax in your town. And that's more than we've been able to say for a while now!

The last year in Munich Anthrax kicked Motörhead's ass, even when it came to crowd response.

As for "Judas Priest Cover Band", you guys are saying that Anthrax now with John is a cover band too. You didn't want to say that, did you?

I'm gonna see Dead Kennedys (sans Biafra) in Prague tonight! Last summer they were just awesome!

Not quite the same. It's not like Joey left the band, so Anthrax looked for someone who sounded exactly like him, and found one from an Anthrax tribute band. Anthrax kicked out Joey and replaced him with somebody better, talent-wise and what he brought to the band.
