Don't use that Hass effect trick if you're wanting bigger guitars. If you stand on one side of your audio equipment you'll get phase issues like no other. Mix to mono and you'll have hell. Slapback is good for rockabilly and surf, I suppose, but it's an effect.

Sum that Nickelback album to mono and guitars pull a houdini.

Just double track like a real man.
