'Noon all,

I've got a friend that's having trouble getting EZ Drummer to trigger from a MIDI input (midisport 2x2) in Cubase (I guess SX 3).

I don't use Cubase and know dick all about the mystical workings of MIDI when it goes wrong, so can any of you give me step-by-step instructions on how to set it up?

Thanks in advance!

Steve

1) F11 and select ezdrummer.
2) Create a midi track and set its inputs to "all midi ins" and its output to "ezdrummer".

that should be it. :)

Ensure that the midi device is available in the device setup panel of Cubase. Add a midi track to your project, hit F11 to bring up the VST instrument panel then select EZDrummer. Now on the midi track you added, over on the far left pane you will see its input and output routing, you want to change the input to the desired midisport channel, and the output to EZDrummer.

Also, hit F11 again to bring up EZDrummer and head to the mixer panel, right click on the output channel and choose multi output so that each drum is sent to its own mixer channel.

Play!
