Using Guitar Cab Impulses

After you load the impulse do you change any settings on the reverb plugin?

I have TL Space on 100% wet / 0% dry / 100% decay.

Should I be adjusting anything else?

I think you should have the decay set at 0%. Atleast that's what the AltiVerb guys told me.

I use Voxengo's Pristine Space, I put the plug on the track, load the impulse and that's it. I'd generally leave the settings as default unless there is something you don't like about the sound.

Thanks, man. I'm on a mac so I can only use TL space or Altiverb.

TL space defaults to 100% decay, but Noumenon said that Altiverb should be at 0.

I don't know man, Pristine Space doesn't have any decay settings, I say leave it at the default, only fuck with it if it sounds wrong at all.

I have it set at 100% wet / 0% dry / 100% decay and all other parameters are at their default setting.

In TL Space, 100% Decay is the full length of the impulse. In Altiverb, it is backwards and 0% is the full impulse.
