Kinda hard to tell when the guitars are just playing that one thing there dude, but it has potential - however, it may be the drums, but something in there sounds weird and is giving me that "psychoacoustic nausea" feeling, like there's something weird and phasey going on with the stereo field. If you used a widener, than 1,000 curses upon your soul! :heh: And if not, maybe it's something else. Anyway, turn up the guitars, and record them playing something else!

And yeah, that is definitely a  gear list, but your other mix you posted ruled, so I'm looking forward to you vindicating us cheap bastards!

Same. Drums sound like there's too much reverb/room sound or something.

Yeah their is a shitload of reverb on em, and i tried something stupid for the guitars but i kinda like the way it sounded, i was using 6 auxs, 2 on each channel with inverted phase and you can use those to make a bigger stereo sound by phasing em out a bit, but yeah, as for the drums, i like that big over over overly overly fucking reverb sound but its not enough to be like dear god, well at least in my opinion,

AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH I KNEW IT!! DO NOT WANT!!

But seriously, I respectfully suggest that you avoid said technique in the future. :Saint: :D

I've seen that technique used a lot. You'd be surprised how many records use that when you load em in a phase analyzer.

Drums sound way too reverby.
I dont know why but this makes me think of mortal combat. haha.
What are you using to record the drums?
The guitar sounds pretty cool. I like it.
The snare would be awesome if there wasnt so much reverb.

Better, though this time the left guitar seems noticably louder/crunchier than the right guitar, so there's a stereo imbalance. Also, play a different riff that shows it off more! But otherwise, coming along!

Oh, and it sounds like there's a bit too much compression, probably on the master bus, that's causing a bit of distortion.

alright man i'll post another one later tonight i just got done tracking the new hospice song, that they are demoing its so damn fun

Drums are way better. They're fine now.

I noticed a slight imbalance for the guitars but nothing to worry about i guess. We should hear an entire song with different riffs to tell if it's really an issue or not.

The main issue on this new mix is the forementioned distortion (due to compression ? can't tell).
