I bought a couple of these a month or so ago. The dude that owns Warehouse Speakers is selling off old stock at this price as a marketing ploy, to gain stronger word of mouth. When the stock sells out and he goes into production for new ones, the price will go up.
He says that the soft parts of the speakers come from the same English supplier as UK made Celestions, IIRC.
I put these V30 clones in a cab X patterned with 2 real T75 Celestions. I have another cab identical to this one, only loaded with Real Celestion V30's. Not an ideal comparison, even close miking, but I've found the Warehouse speakers to have a tone that hearkens to the V30 and is VERY similar, but the speaker seems a bit darker. To my ears, this is a good thing. I've thought about getting 2 more and going for a full V30 clone set, but the X pattern combo is sounding really nice with my 6505+...
Oh, yeah, if you buy more than 1 speaker, shipping price is combined, thus lower per speaker. I wanna say I got my 2 for around 60 shipped.
