V30 test, need opinions

hey yall, just uploaded 6 files of V30 tests

3 on the bottom right speaker and 3 from the bottom left, each of those three have different mic positions (picture in the rar file)

just wondering which you prefer as a raw tone? the general amp tone is by no means great just wondering on which speaker and position you prefer?

theres 2 riffs per track, nothing has changed apart from the mic position between each as its a reamped DI and the mic used was a 57 no more than 1 cm from the grille cloth

no post processing at all

I chose "BR POS 2" because it seems most balanced.

Yeah, BR POS 2 here as well! (for awhile I would go for Pos. 1, but I'm finding the cloudiness in the mids of that position can really come back to bite ya IMO) The BL speaker has more fizz whereas the BR speaker has more presence/bite (IOW a bit lower in the frequency range), so I definitely prefer it!

BR1 or BR2....The right speaker is more open and trebbly but the left speaker could fit well in some mix

i prefer br 1 or 2...br cos they sound better to me

Well, since the poll says 80% br pos 2 you can be sure which one sounds best. Unless, everyone saw that I chose it and they thought it's safe bet
