Valencia Gig Cancelled ;(((((((

Yup, mates, the ig has been cancelled. I´ve tried to talk with the "Roxy" (place for the gig) and it´s been a failure. I don´t now the reasons yet, but I´m very very sisappointed, ´cause I was just about seing Katatonia for the first time in my life and IT´S BEEN CANCELLED!

There was no Valencia gig on the updated official tour schedule. I highly recommend everyone check out the concerts section @ www.katatonia.com if they are planning to see any of the shows, to make sure it's on the list. And I don't say that to plug the page, just because the schedule there is the most up-to-date I've seen (more than peaceville page even..) and it'd be a shame to excited over nothing..

, where did you see it posted? it reminds me of the time i saw it in Terrorizer advertising the 9th of september, then the next months said October the 9th. both times i went to get tickets, and the venue said they knew nothing about it. anyway, not long now, yay

I think it is usually clear that people know concert dates are always subject to change, which is why we say many times to continue to check the web site for changes. As you see in the dates I posted above, the Valencia date wasn't even there... and those dates are from about a week ago, so it wasn't a sudden change either.. sorry you were unable to see them though.

i don't think a lot of people were checking here the date of the gigs, but it isn't updated (i won't have seen that if i wasn't checking a site with full songs for the guy from another thread)
