lol wut

Anyways, Pantera had a few decent lyrics.
Yeah.
The lyrics on Cowboys From Hell are good metal lyrics. The lyrics on Vulgar, with the exception of Walk, are good. Walk is probably the best song ever to have such an absurd chorus.

I honestly don't see all the hype Pantera gets, to be honest. They have a few good songs, but the music has little if any depth, and it gets repetitive after awhile.

As for the topic, damn. I was hoping for another Burzum album. Can Varg not appeal this shit or something?
He can, but they'll turn him down.

This reminds me, I hate it when people hate bands just because they're overrated, like it's the band's fault for being more popular than they should be.

God I hate your mom

Has anyone heard their glam stuff? I've always been intrigued as to how it sounded...

I don't. I'd feel like a poser if I hadn't heard Vulgar maybe...but tbh Pantera isn't even an essential band in any way.

No I felt like a Pantera poser. Because I have a Pantera shirt, and haven't heard Power Metal.

Also, I look at Pantera like I would to Manowar. I don't take them real serious. But have fun with them.

BLEAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHGHHHGHHH!!!!

WTF does "The Great Southern Trendkill" even mean?

I remember reading about that album before it was released and I guess the point was that Pantera was putting out this album that was so hardcore and so heavy and so sticking-to-their-guns-ish and this whole trendkill thing was like some sort of battle cry against whatever was really trendy at the time (alternative rock, pop punk), add to that the fact that they're southerners and you get the great southern trendkill.

Pantera is pretty gay.
