Veil of Maya - Mowgli, Cover

Hey guys!

I was thinking lately about recording a cover. I finally chose my favorite song by Veil of Maya - Mowgli. Unfortunately it wasn't a good choice, because mixing this thing was a nightmare... This kind of chords mixed with palm-mutes - I had a hard time trying to figure out how to mix both to sound nice.



Let me know what you think about that. What would you change, how would you improve guitars to sound better? Critique appreciated!

I was trying, but then these chords were to harsh... I changed slightly guitar tone and made some drums adjustments though.

I used TSE X30 and engl v30 impulses. And recorded with RG2228.

not bad, but i would have been in the same tuning personally. also, maybe add a little more gain to the guitars.
