i've often questioned the necessity of the voice vibrato. Many sleepless nights have been spent with the incessant ringing of vibrato piercing my eardrums.

personally i like Labrie's singing... and his vibrato.. I mean.. he has a lot of high vibrato passages in the long old epics.. they're needed

i think that a lot of those singers just use excessive voice vibrato because all the other members of the band are playin' like mofo's on their instruments and if the singer has no instrument to play he has to show off his voOoOoOice
