What is a good video monitoring system for visual contact from the vocal booth into the control room?

I wonder if there is something that would work using the local network rather than leaving to the internet like Skype.
Anyway what I use is a webcam and TV or a second monitor. Then I use a USB extender and HDMI over Ethernet. That way I can put the session on the screen too since some guys like seeing that for timing.

Good one. I was busting my balls over this quite a few times seeing as there is a substantial amount of CCTV camera models out there.

I have a dropcam. It would work, just know that there is a significant delay. I prefer it for what it was made for (home security and letting the wife drop in on our kid and see her playing).
That's why I went baby monitor instead, there isn't much of a discernible delay.
