Talking about good unknown finnish bands :D
Before The Dawn sound pretty good. For now i only heard the samples on their site but I can't wait for the new CD and to see them on stage here on Feb 23rd :) :)
Drowned In Life are ok but they remind me a bit too much of Entwine... I mean it's ok but they should try to find their own style. That's what I like about all those finnish bands. They all have this depressed kind but their style is different. Comparing Entwine, To/Die/For, Charon, Before The Dawn.. they all have this finnish melancholy in their music but still they don't sound the same. All the frontmen have their own characteristic voice and the style of the music is different :) I just call it Finnish Metal :D

Emm.... And then you call Manowar posers...

I like their music, but this is ridiculous, especially for this kind of band... It's amazing what people do for numbered pieces of paper...

Yeah well, I still find it stupid... The cover album on Metallica was good. It's the only one I've heard from them...

Well... they use cellos so of course they're soft! And what does heaviness have to do with quality?

Hehehe "they use cellos so of course they're soft"
It's pretty obvious that you didn't hear the later works yet ;)
And about the quality, in this case: yes. The album that you heard is well played and stuff but sounds very incomplete, compared to their other stuff. I you have the opportunity you can always download something eh
