i find this a bit strange that the up and coming Saxon gig in London is being billed as
The Eagle Flies again, featuring Saxon!
surely that is not the best way of selling the band?!
i mean if you go onto Stargreens website and looked under S for saxon it is not anywhere to be seen yet go on to E and there it is!
is this a concious attempt to differentiate between the OD Saxon and our beloved real saxon, cause i think that it will not work that way..

after all Saxon is not part of an eagle, the Eagle is part of Saxons stage set. Sure i know all about it but do others??
what about newer blood getting into the metal scene do they know about the Eagle or do they just recongnise the names of some of the famous bands..i'll bet that they recongnise the name first , stage prop second..... just a thought thats all.
perhaps someone on the management side and advertising side could see to making sure that the billing posters read Saxon in nice big letters so everyone knows that is what is happening.
