since there is no any official site at all anymore with some kind of info archives, except this forum, where one could access Vintersorg related interviews and other infos, i thought it would be nice to have some kind of compilation of interviews in one place for easy viewing. There are probably hundreds threads here where various interviews links are hiding, so it is almost impossible to find them.

So, if you have a link to a nice interview with mr.V, no matter how old and concerning any of his projects, please post it here. Just try not to double post the same links, thank you.

Here's to start:

thnx! i have just added this awesome Borknagar interview Agah translated, and added another one, of blabbermouth.net, to the end of the list in the OP

@Agah: wow this interview is great! thnx for reposting it, i've never read it before! the new album walkthrough sets the hopes soooooooo high, i keep my fingers crossed i wont be disappointed expecting a genius masterpiece at the very least :headbang:

i really liked interview number 4, i think mr V personality and choices come out very strongly.
i love this part:
Are you satisfied with your career so far?
Yeah, I'm really happy with how everything has become. I never had the goal to become a rock star. I'm the opposite of the arrogant rock star. I never had that goal. I always had the goal to write music for myself and through my own desires and wills. If other people like it that's amazing and cool, but if they don't like it I still think it's amazing and cool. It's good to have a record company backing you up and paying for the studio costs. I can do whatever I want. It has to be that way. If the record company told me that I had to adjust my music to the market more, I would never agree to such terms. My artistry comes from my heart and not with my brain. I'm not scanning the market trying to do some power metal which is huge in Europe and ride the power metal wave. You would just be fooling yourself to make a quick buck. I feel like I'm in charge of my career. I'm not a victim of record company troubles. I compose my own musical destiny.

i was shocked to learn that one of mr v's fave movie is the cell with jennifer lopez. i didn't expect it

huh is that The Cell? Didn't know J Lo was in it. Wait, now i'm not even sure i've seen it at all... Anyway, i remember having watched Pi and that i was impressed but strangely, don't remember anymore how the plot goes... *off to find some torrents :p

i've seen the cell but i remember only a few about the story, that means it didn't impress me that much...
i've never seen Pi but i'm curious about that!

well, the movie "the Cell" isn't that great I feel...it was more the sceneries I liked and still do...but the story is quite predictable.

mr V

I agree with Mr. V. The movie is not that great, but the visual aspects are quite impressive. It's a very interesting aesthetics exercise.

you should! it's in black and white, and it's kinda crazy o_O i want to watch it again too

i'm gonna see it then.
also the david lynch's one seems to be interesting :)

edit: i did quote the wrong person, quote adjusted

Lynch is a madman. Lost Highway is a good choice.

Some another twisted movies that may interest you are Jacob's Ladder, Session 9, Sileni (or Lunacy) and Spalovak Mrtvol (The Cremator).
