Well, Virgil was the drummer for Steve Vai on the latest G3 tour.
Virgil also is in the band Planet X with ex Dream Theater keyboardist Derek Sherinian and Tony MacApline on geetar.

Virgil is the most amazing drummer I have ever seen!

Frank Gambale is playing geetar at these shows. He is in a band with Joe Satriani's bass player, Stu Hamm.

You can pretty much expect some virtuosso musicianship!

Lucky bastards! Stu Hamm also played on the last Death album, and on the Control Denied album.

The show was awesome, but as expected, Virgil stole the show! He is a deadset freak of a drummer!
His solo had every single person's jaw fully planted on the floor!

I agree Spruce, the show rocked. I had a great seat just to the side of Gambale - I could see everything Virg played.

Its just a pitty Virgil is so up him self - he didn't even reply tp a question I asked him (but he did sign a few things for me), but Gambale and Ric where very enthusiastic and liked to chat - especially Gambale. He is the utilimate champ
